Four outdoor hard courts sit next to the Taylorsville Senior Center on Plymouth View Drive, built out in 2023 and 2024 as the center added amenities to draw visitors back. The courts are dedicated to pickleball, repaved, with a small covered meeting area between them for waiting and shade. Reviewers describe them as clean, in good shape, and friendly, with a crowd that skews toward newer players in the 2.0 to 3.5 range. Lights extend play after sunset, so evening sessions run late. One recurring note: court-sharing etiquette can be uneven when it gets busy, so it helps to speak up about rotation.
Four dedicated outdoor courts, free to use, first come first served with no reservations. Lights come on after sunset, and posted hours run roughly 6 AM to 10 PM daily. Parking is shared with the adjacent senior center, including two handicap spaces near the access ramp to the courts. A covered area between the courts provides waiting space and shade. Busy periods draw a mix of new and intermediate players, and rotation can get crowded, so be ready to call your spot in the queue.
What locals say
“4 courts and sharing is not very often for pickleball. You really got to ask how much points people have so they get the message to share the courts and sometimes I get ignored or they start complaining that others are not sharing.. A lot of new players and 2.0 to 3.5 play here”
“Newly opened; qty 4 courts with small covered "meeting"/"waiting" area between courts; re-paved, shared parking between pickleball courts and senior center; qty 2 handicap parking spaces near the access ramp to courts.”
“are there any pickleball players' clubs in the Taylorsville area that I, a beginner, can join?”
