Mill Race Park (also written Millrace Park) is a 20-acre county park in Taylorsville that most people visit for its pond, walking paths, open fields, and a popular off-leash dog area. The two outdoor pickleball courts sit within that larger park setting, so play here comes with the easy, low-key feel of a neighborhood green space rather than a dedicated racquet complex. The courts are dedicated to pickleball, with permanent lines and nets on concrete, and they are free to use. Salt Lake County maintains the grounds while the City of Taylorsville manages day-to-day use, including the dog area and park rules.
Two outdoor dedicated pickleball courts, concrete surface with permanent lines and nets. Play is free and open to the public, and courts can be reserved. Restrooms are on site, and the courts are wheelchair accessible. The park is at 1150 W 5400 S. Because this is a busy general-use park with a pond, playground, and dog area, expect foot traffic and shared parking, especially on weekends and pleasant evenings. Lighting is not confirmed, so plan for daytime play unless you verify on arrival.
