Pickleball at the Murray City Senior Recreation Center runs on three dedicated hard courts, one indoors and two outdoors behind the building, all with permanent nets and lines. The center is a Murray City facility built around adults 55 and older, so the pickleball scene skews toward that crowd and toward instruction. The city runs Learn to Play Pickleball sessions for beginner and intermediate players, which makes this a reasonable on-ramp for anyone picking up a paddle later in life. The indoor court matters in a state with real winters and hot summers, giving players a climate-controlled option when the outdoor pair is unusable.
Three dedicated hard courts: one indoor and two outdoor located behind the building, all with permanent nets. Courts cannot be reserved and are free to play. Murray City runs Learn to Play Pickleball lessons for adults, geared to those 55 and older, on Tuesdays and Thursdays for both beginner and intermediate levels; register at mcreg.com. The center is open weekdays with extended Thursday hours, and there is no membership fee. The monthly newsletter and the front desk at (801) 264-2635 carry the current drop-in times. Parking is on site at 10 E 6150 S.
