Kenneth Baldwin Country Park, a 30-acre West Haven park at 3300 South and 2825 West that the city renamed in 2021 for an early leader who spent years turning salt flats and wetlands into ball fields. The pickleball block shares the grounds with sand volleyball, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a playground, a rodeo arena, and a paved path. Reviewers call the courts clean, well maintained, and in great shape, with one regular noting it is one of the better places in the area to play. Eight courts mean a group can usually find an open one.
