Pickleball is a recent addition here. South Jordan installed courts at East Riverfront Park as part of a city push that brought 18 public courts online across three parks, and the mayor's office described them as bright new courts bustling with players of all ages. The setting is a 26-acre park along the Jordan River, tucked behind a business district off Riverfront Parkway, with a paved river trail, a large reservable pavilion, restrooms, a playground, and a basketball court. Reviewers describe it as clean, quiet, and well kept, away from traffic noise. The river-trail access and lunchtime crowd from nearby offices set the tone: a calm neighborhood park that now also draws paddle players.
The pickleball courts are outdoor and city-owned, free to play, and part of South Jordan's set of 18 public courts spread across three parks. The park is open 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. There is a sizable parking lot beside the large pavilion. Reviewers note the park can get busy on weekdays around lunch because nearby offices use it, so off-peak mornings and evenings are calmer for court time. The large pavilion is reservable online through the city; the courts are first come, first served. Restrooms, water, and grills are on site.
