Highland Park is a newer South Jordan park in Daybreak's Highland Park Village, west of Mountain View Corridor and north of Lake Ave, with six pickleball courts sitting alongside soccer fields, two playgrounds, pavilions, and wide grassy areas. The courts draw a steady neighborhood crowd, and reviewers describe a friendly, family environment where the pickleball play shares space with kids and picnics. The courts are screened, a useful feature given how often players mention wind here. They run east to west, which several players flag as a drawback at sunrise and sunset. Outside of those glare windows, courts are usually open enough to play without a long wait.
Six outdoor pickleball courts, hard surface, with lights for night play and screening around the courts. Access is free and the park is open sunrise to sunset. Parking is large and frequently praised. Expect competition on warm summer evenings, when one reviewer warned about finding an open court. The courts face east to west, so morning and evening sun can be blinding on one side. The site is exposed and often windy, which players note affects ball flight even with the screens up. No reservation or drop-in program is documented; play is first come, first served.
What locals say
“We have also played pickleball here and there are enough courts that we haven't had to wait. Regarding the pickleball courts, they are situated east to west, which can be blinding in the morning or evenings. Another thing to note is this place is always windy. They have screened in the pickleball courts, but the wind has still affected our games.”
“Somewhat busy on the pickleball courts but it's still great. It's lit at night which is amazing. Friendly people play here and it's a good environment. Always pretty clean”
“I love the open space here, and the playground is next level. The pickle ball craze has bit this park as well, and there are plenty of courts. Good luck finding one on a warm summers night.”
“Clean park. There are 2 good-sized playgrounds for kids and 6 pickleball/tennis courts.”
