The vibe

Carterville Park is a small, quiet Provo neighborhood park tucked behind the Walmart on the Provo-Orem border. Pickleball Plus lists 4 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts here, though the courts aren't a topic in sampled Google reviews, which focus on the playground, quarter-mile walking path, sand volleyball court, basketball court, small baseball field, two pavilions, and bathrooms. Reviewers describe the broader park as quiet, under-the-radar, and dog-friendly, with pavilions reservable through Provo Parks.

Practical notes

Park hours are 7 AM to 11 PM daily. The 4 pickleball courts (per Pickleball Plus directory) are free and public; on-court details (lighting, fencing, surface condition) are not documented in available sources, so call Provo Parks or verify on a daytime drive-by if those matter. The 0.25-mile walking loop has divots that make it unsuitable for skateboards or scooters. The park is tucked away and easy to miss on a first visit. Bathrooms and a working water spigot are on site. Dog poop station with bags; leash-rule enforcement is inconsistent.

This park has a lot of areas that you can reserve for family events, as well as a sand volleyball court(Although one of the metal poles is missing) ...it also has a great little baseball field. It ALSO has a basketball court!

Carterville Park is one of my favorite parks. It has a beautiful walking path with a clear view of the mountains, bathroom services, picnic tables, a large field, playground and so much more.
