Boydston Pickleball Academy
Pan + zoom to spot the courts, they’re often tucked off to one side of the park.
This is a private lesson court, not a place to show up and play open rec. Boydston Pickleball Academy runs out of a single backyard court at 4091 Foothill Drive in Provo, where a mother-and-son team, Liz and Clayton Boydston, coach players from across Utah County. The family moved from Austin in 2021, picked up the sport, and within four years put all four kids at 5.0 or higher, with two reaching the PPA and APP pro tours. Clayton, a college All-American at Utah Tech, came back in 2026 to coach full time. If you want structured drilling and one-on-one instruction rather than a public net to rotate onto, this is built for that.
One private outdoor acrylic court with a permanent net and painted lines. The court has lights, restrooms, and water on site. Access is by reservation only, with no drop-in or public play, and no shared or rotating court time. Lessons run Monday through Saturday and start at $30, available as private one-on-one, partner and small group, or open group sessions. You book a specific time through the academy rather than walking up. Formats include junior development for kids who want more than rec play. Contact the coaches directly to be matched to a format.
