Harvey Park is a newer Cedar Hills park on the Murdock Trail where six pickleball courts sit alongside two tennis courts, basketball courts, ball fields, and a large splash pad. Reviewers describe it as clean and well equipped, with a permanent shaved-ice and smoothie stand, shaded pavilions, and an extensive playground that keeps a wide range of ages busy. The pickleball courts share a busy family destination rather than a quiet dedicated facility, so expect general park traffic alongside play. The recurring complaint is heat: the playground turf and open courts get hot, and there is little shade away from the pavilions.
The park sits right on the Murdock Trail, so biking in is easy, and reviewers report parking is generally available. Play is first-come, with no posted reservation system. The splash pad is not always running, so check before going if that is the draw, since visitors have shown up in swimsuits to find the water off. Shade is limited outside the pavilions and the surfaces get hot in summer, so morning play is more comfortable. Restrooms, picnic tables, and the concession stand are close to the courts.
