Mid Valley Pickleball, branded The M.V.P., is a small indoor, reservation-only facility at 7205 S 900 E in Midvale, built into the ground floor of an apartment building that added the courts as a resident amenity and opened them to the public for rental. There are three courts under climate control with blackout windows, plus a lounge area with a large-screen TV and restrooms. Because the courts sit on a ground floor with low ceilings, lobs are limited, and players describe it as better suited to casual games, parties, and private events than to high-arc competitive play. It is not a walk-in facility.
Three indoor courts, climate-controlled, open daily 5 AM to midnight. Reservation only, no walk-ins. Book by the hour through the Court Reserve app at $24 per hour for up to four players, or rent the whole facility for events at $200 for two hours, up to 30 guests, by phone or email. There are no membership fees. A waiver signed in the portal is required before a first game, and the door opens with an emailed pin code. Reviewers note good parking and restrooms close to the courts.
What locals say
“Download the Court Reserve app and add Mid Valley Pickleball and you can reserve any or all courts by the hour or the whole facility for min of two hours.”
“3 pickleball courts and an area with a large screen tv and bathrooms to accommodate your group.”
“This is an apartment building that (wisely) added pickleball courts as an amenity for its residents, but keeps the courts open for the public for rental at the moment. You can't lob, because ceilings are low, as it's the ground floor”
