Copperview is a Salt Lake County recreation center in Midvale, and its pickleball lives indoors. The county lines six courts onto the floor of the Large Gym, the same space that holds two volleyball courts and a high-school basketball court, so play here is gym pickleball: portable nets, painted lines, and shared building rather than a dedicated outdoor complex. The center runs open, pick-up style games with no reservations, which suits drop-in players more than groups wanting a locked-in court. The rest of the building is a full rec center, with a weights and cardio area, group fitness rooms, a skate park, and youth programs, so the courts sit inside a busy community facility.
Six pickleball courts, indoors in the Large Gym. Play is pick-up style with no court reservations, and all players regardless of ability are allowed to participate. Drop-in is $4 or included with a Membership Pass, ages 16 and up. Bring your own paddle and ball or check them out at the front desk, and check out nets there too. Open play runs when the gym is available, so call ahead or check the center calendar before driving over. The center is open weekdays 6 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM, Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM. Parking has 109 spaces plus six ADA spaces.
