Sky Ridge Park is a newer neighborhood park on the west side of Hurricane that put in outdoor pickleball alongside its other amenities. Hurricane City built the first phase with a centralized pavilion, restrooms, parking, and the pickleball court, and the grounds also carry a playground, splash pad, looped walking trails, and open turf. Reviewers describe it as shaded, medium sized, and tucked away enough that one local called it hidden for the area. It reads as a family park first, with pickleball as one of the draws rather than a dedicated complex, which makes it a relaxed spot to get a game in without the crowds of a larger sports park.
The court sits behind the park building, and the lights for it are located back there too, per a reviewer who flagged where to find the switch. Play is free and open to the public, with hours running 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Parking is plentiful with some shaded spaces, and there are clean modern restrooms on site. The park was built in phases by Hurricane City, so check current access if visiting soon after construction. One reviewer cautioned about a steep rocky drop just behind the picnic tables, worth noting if you bring small kids.
