Pickleball at Antczak Park runs on the tennis courts, where the city has painted pickleball lines on Courts 1 and 2. This is a small neighborhood park behind Ridgecrest Elementary, with a baseball diamond, a sand volleyball area, an open grass field, a pavilion, and a recently rebuilt playground. Reviewers describe it as quiet, well maintained, and shaded, the kind of place locals grew up using. Because the pickleball courts are shared tennis courts rather than dedicated striped courts, casual visitors sometimes miss them. Players who know to look will find four marked courts on a blue hard surface.
Four pickleball courts use lines painted on Tennis Courts 1 and 2, blue hard surface. Lights stay on until 10pm during summer months. You must bring your own nets. Non-members pay $10 per hour with a two-hour maximum; CHRC members get two hours free. Reserve by phone one week before your date. Courts are not included in pavilion rentals. Parking to the upper section of the park is closed until 4pm on school days because of Ridgecrest Elementary, so plan accordingly during the school year.
