A membership-based indoor pickleball club in Uintah, just south of Ogden, built specifically for the sport rather than converted from a gym. The Picklr runs 7 dedicated courts under pro-grade lighting, with two of them set up as championship courts for tournaments. It is climate controlled, which regulars point to as the main draw: 73 degrees inside while it is 101 outside, and year-round play through the winter. Programming is the engine here, with leagues, clinics, open play, and socials for every level from first-timers to advanced. A pro shop sells paddles and gear inside. Reviews split sharply between players who love the community and those frustrated by pricing and the booking app.
7 indoor courts on a hard surface, each with lighting that activates when you step on. Open 6 AM to midnight daily. Access is membership-based, with tiers from $79/month (Play) up to $129 Unlimited Adult, $169 Pro, and $279 Family; non-members can pay a day pass at the front desk. A 15-day trial runs $30. Most clinics are included with membership, some carry a small fee. Two restrooms with showers. Parking can fill up at busy times. Book courts in advance, especially weekends, since open play and leagues draw crowds.
What locals say
“Amazing complex for pickleball! If you are into pickleball or looking to give it a shoot go check this place out. The courts are amazing with plenty of light. Each court has lights that are activated when you step onto the court, which is awesome. They have a championship court for big tournaments.”
“Year round pickleball. Great programs with a focus on improving your pickleball game. Anyone from starting out to advanced can find a league or clinic to be involved with at the Picklr.”
“Not as spacious as their Kaysville location, but they have Sunday programming, lots of parking when I’ve been there, two single stall toilet/shower rooms, 7 courts and so far everyone has been helpful and friendly.”
“I love playing pickleball here! The facility is super nice and the courts are also super nice! It can be a little pricey compared to other places around but I have always had a great experience at the Picklr!”
