Syracuse Community Center
Pickleball at the Syracuse Community Center is an indoor, gym-floor operation. The city sets up nets across the two full-size basketball gyms on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, when the courts are closed to basketball. Players have reported about six courts spread between the West Gym and East Gym. It is the same building that holds a walking track, an exercise equipment room, fitness classes, and senior programming, so the pickleball crowd shares space with a steady flow of other rec-center users. The format is open play for all ages, with a short league added in spring. Outdoor, dedicated courts in Syracuse sit elsewhere, at Founders Park.
Indoor courts on hardwood, taped across the West Gym and East Gym. Pickleball runs Tuesdays and Thursdays for all ages; the city lists 9am to 1pm in the West Gym and 10am to 1pm in the East Gym, with the gyms closed to basketball during those blocks. A spring pickleball league runs roughly March through April. The center sits at 1912 West 1900 South with on-site parking. Hours shift by season, so confirm the current gym schedule with Parks and Recreation at 801-614-9660, option 1.
