Four outdoor pickleball courts sit under the red cliffs of Zion Canyon, a few minutes from the national park entrance. This is the public Town Park play, free and open, with the courts tucked alongside a library, a disc golf course, softball field, and sand volleyball. Reviewers keep returning to one thing: the backdrop. Players call it a world-class setting, with docile deer wandering nearby and fresh, well-kept courts. Each court is fenced, the central sitting area is covered, and a gear chest holds spare paddles and balls. Mornings can be empty, but the Monday and Tuesday programs draw players from across Southern Utah.
Four outdoor hard courts, fenced, with a covered seating area and a storage chest of loaner paddles and balls. Free play, no reservations. The park runs 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. Beginner lessons happen Tuesdays, and Monday evenings bring a pickleball social with pool play and often a group dinner. Restrooms, water, and parking are on site, though drivers pay to park near the courts; one reviewer suggests parking at the town hall on weekends and walking in. Address is 126 Lion Blvd, near the Canyon Community Center and public library.
