Pickleball sits inside a 60-acre regional park in Kearns, not a standalone facility. Lodestone is a mining-themed destination park with a large playground, a zip line, sports fields, basketball, tennis, and a multi-mile mountain bike skills course, and the two pickleball courts are one amenity among many. Salt Lake County runs it as a Class One Regional Park, and Google reviewers rate the grounds 4.7 across more than 2,000 ratings, repeatedly calling it clean, scenic, and family-friendly. Players who come for paddle time share the space with families, walkers, and riders. The trees are still young, so shade is limited and the courts sit in open sun.
Two dedicated outdoor pickleball courts on a hard surface, separate from the tennis courts. The courts are unlit, so play is daylight-only despite the park itself being open 6 AM to 11 PM. Play is free with no court or member fees. The park has restrooms, drinking fountains, several pavilions, and on-site parking, though one reviewer noted limited accessible parking. Expect family and playground traffic on weekends. Pavilions can be reserved through Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation. Address: 6252 W 6200 S, Kearns, UT 84118.
