Holladay City Park sits on 6.5 acres in the heart of the city's historic civic and business district, next to City Hall. Pickleball is one feature among many here: the park also holds a playground with shade sails, a walking path, sports fields, a gazebo stage, a picnic pavilion, the historic Casto Home, and a skatepark. The two pickleball courts run on a first come, first serve, non-reservable basis. Reviewers describe an open, family-oriented space with strong community feel, a view of Mt Olympus, and regular events including summer concerts and a Fourth of July celebration. Shade is limited since the park is relatively new with young trees.
Two outdoor pickleball courts, hard surface, first come first serve and non-reservable per the city. There are no court fees and no lights, so play runs in daylight. The park is open daily 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Parking is on site, and reviewers note it is convenient. The courts share the park with playgrounds, sports fields, and a skatepark, so expect family crowds and event traffic on summer evenings and holidays. Restrooms are available. The park hosts community concerts and games, which can occupy the grounds on weekends.
