These are Bluffdale's neighborhood pickleball courts at Independence Park, tucked along Noell Nelson Drive in a residential setting. The city lists four dedicated courts here, and the layout is built for play: each court is individually fenced, with benches and mesh wind screens added to several to cut the breeze that rolls through this part of the valley. Players describe a convenient, well-kept spot that fills up fast. Evenings draw the heaviest crowds once the weather warms, and waits for an open court are common. A restroom and a water fountain with a bottle filler were added in 2022, addressing an earlier gap.
Four outdoor courts, free to play on a first-come, first-serve basis per the City of Bluffdale, no reservations taken at this location. Courts are fenced individually with mesh wind screens on some sides, and lights extend play into the evening, though reviewers note the lights can be unreliable. A restroom and water-bottle filler were added in 2022. Expect crowds and waits on warm evenings; arrive earlier in the day for an open court. Wind is a recurring factor at this site.
