  Burgess Park

  Burgess Park is where Alpine's pickleball story started. The city installed four outdoor courts here in September 2015, among the first official public outdoor courts in northern Utah County, after residents lobbied for them through the parks budget. The 21-acre park wraps the courts in a full menu of rec space: five ball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball, a rugby pitch, and a paved walking loop. Reviewers describe well maintained pickleball and tennis courts and a park bigger than they expected. It plays like a classic city sports park, with games running alongside Little League traffic and playground noise.
